So let's get a few things straight. 1. This isn't a Minecraft styled game. It is an ARPG in a Minecraft skin. If you're looking for any sort of building, crafting, mining, etc. It will not be found here. 2. This IS an ENTRY level ARPG. They wanted the elements to be subtle and family-friendly, so if you're a long time POE or Diablo fan looking for your next grind, this isn't it. I see so many bad reviews because people are wanting what the game never said it would be. it's a $20 game. With future DLC and stuff planned but will never come close to the grind fest that the other amazing ARPG's are. Now, if you are wanting something laid back that you can progress in and increase your gear power in a dungeon crawler style, then this is for you. The game plays quite well. One minor issue with the control layout but you'll get used to it. The world isn't destructible, but that's not the end of the world. In terms of gameplay though it's an enjoyable game. I've had fun playing it so far and I've put about 12 hours into it. All the reviews you see of "Its only 5 hours long" or "The game is too easy!" LMAO, The story is 5 hours, but there are 3 difficulties and each one adds a few more items to try out. There are hidden levels to explore and a final secret area you can only get to after beating the story. As for the difficulty, of course, it's easy if you play on lower difficulties, but the game LETS YOU increase it. My whole playthrough I played 1-2 levels higher than recommended and by no means is the game EASY. It's not Dark Souls or anything but if you want a challenge you can get one. I can see myself playing for another 15-20 hours before putting it down until DLC and for a game that was only $20 that gave a fun, enjoyable experience with friends for over 30 hours, I say Minecraft Dungeons is an easy choice if you're looking for a more casual experience or an entry-level game into the ARPG genre.
