Dude, Wyndham Clark totally won the U.S. Open!

Clark, who only has one PGA Tour win under his belt, totally came out of nowhere and completely dominated the competition at Los Angeles Country Club.

A couple of Tuesdays ago, when the golf world was going crazy, Wyndham Clark didn't feel the need to immediately post something on Twitter to show his shock and anger. He didn't go meet with the PGA Tour commissioner to express his disappointment about the sudden agreement with Saudi Arabia's wealth fund. He didn't really do anything except focus on playing golf.

On that Tuesday, he decided to play at the Los Angeles Country Club, where the U.S. Open would take place just nine days later. One of his buddies from the club was his caddie, and he knew a few hidden tricks about the North Course that only a few top golfers were aware of: where the putts might curve, how the speed might change, and how the fairways could get firm.

Clark, who's 29, won the U.S. Open on Sunday evening by one stroke against Rory McIlroy, and now he's part of the cool club of people who've won major championships.
