  1. Burj Khalifa
    There are not many more iconic buildings synonymous with a country than the Burj Khalifa is with the UAE. The world’s tallest building standing at 829.8 metres or 2,722 ft has been the highest man-made structure since 2009 and offers visitors the chance to view the city of Dubai from the clouds. At 379AED this does not come cheap however the price is certainly worth it and is a once in a lifetime opportunity. If heights are not your thing, you’ll see be able to experience this awesome structure by taking a stroll through the ground floor which links up with the Dubai Mall.

    If you fancy taking a break from the modern metropolis, then the sand dunes offer you the chance to experience the Arabian desert. Organized tours will collect you from your hotel and take you out to the desert ready to enjoy the dips, drops and climbs from the ever-changing dunes. After touring the dunes, you will be allowed to relax in a desert camp. An evening of belly dancing, sandboarding, camel riding, live entertainment, traditional food and star gazing are all on offer as well. Organized tours are available for as little as $40 and the tours definitely exceed this budget price!

  1. Wild Wadi Waterpark
    The best waterpark in Dubai! Enough said! The reason we say this is because we have visited this waterpark over 300 times and still do not get bored. No, seriously this waterpark has everything you could want and caters for every thrill rider. From the casual waterpark goer, the wave pool and lazy river may take your fancy. For the immediate rider then the rapids and black hole maybe your favorite, and for the full-blown adrenaline junky then the Jumeriah Sceirah is by far the most obvious choice. General admission for an adult is around $70 however, discounts and family tickets are available. Roamadic Recommendation!

  2. Dubai Park and Resort
    Dubai Park and Resort is the largest theme park in the entire Middle East and covers an area of 2km encompassing over 100 rides. The park features LEGOLAND, Motiongate, Bollywood, Riverland and a waterpark as well as a whole host of live shows, restaurants, shops and attractions. You will definitely need a full day at this resort and then some! The park caters for every age group and is a must visit whilst holidaying in Dubai.

  3. Bur Dubai Abra Dock and Gold Souk
    This attraction is located in the old quarters of Dubai and still holds traditional qualities that Dubai has almost outgrown. An easy sky train ride will drop you off within walking distance of the gold souks. Take a stroll amongst old-style stores and browse the gold jewelry and artifacts that litter store windows. If your legs get tired of walking then you can choose a wooden boat ride to ferry you across the small channel where the area starts to transform back to the glamours city. If you are still keen to explore more of the Arabian heritage then look no further than the Dubai museum. Admission is pocket change and displays an insightful look at Dubai before the discovery of big oil.

    At 12 million square ft the Dubai Mall is one of the largest shopping centres in the world. It is every shopaholic’s dream with over 1,200 stores and kiosks to spend spend spend! The mall is also home to an indoor aquarium and a gateway to the Burj Khalifa. If you need an activity to do in the afternoon or late evening then strolling around this enormous shopping centre might just be the perfect answer.

  2. Jumeriah Public Beach
    With 8-10 hours of sun 365 days a day, it is no surprise that a main attraction that draws people to Dubai is the weather and white sandy beaches. Jumeriah public beach is a free beach located within walking distance of Wild Wadi Waterpark and offers and Instagram worthy photograph of the Burj Al Arab the world’s only seven-star hotel. Warm waters, and patrolling lifeguards ensure a safe, relaxed and family friendly activity for everyone to enjoy.

  1. Souk Madinat Jumeriah
    The Madinat hotel is another 5-star resort to Dubai’s long list of luxury tourist accommodation. What makes this resort worth visiting is the hotel and its surrounding complex architecture. A modernized take on traditional desert buildings, combined with small boutique stores and river side restaurants makes this a perfect evening activity.

  2. The Palm Jumeriah and Atlantis Waterpark
    The Palm Jumeriah represents Dubai’s ambition and creativity constructing a man-made island shaped palm tree in the Persian Gulf in only six years! Posh beach clubs, great restaurants and scenic boardwalks draw thousands of tourists every year. Located on the Palm is the Atlantis Waterpark which is so big it has a multi-stage zipline running over the park. Another unique attraction about this waterpark is one of its most popular rides carries you through an aquarium. You get to observe aquatic life at well, fish level and is truly a fantastic experience.

    Last and but certainly no means least on our list of top attractions to visit in Dubai is the Mall of the Emirates. Smaller than its counterpart Mall of Dubai, this mall hosts one of the largest indoor ski resorts in the world! Yes, you read that right, Dubai, a middle eastern country known for its hot weather and desert landscape is home to one of the world’s indoor ski resorts in the world. Not only this but over 900 stores call this place home and is a great place to visit whilst in Dubai.
