Christmas in Malaysia Bathroom Moments dtubesnapx
Merry Christmas from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia!
We celebrate Christmas here in SE Asia and we do it right.
No one has ever heard of happy holidays here.
As of December 1st, all of the Christmas decorations came out in the Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu businesses in my neighborhood. One day it was November and the next day it was Christmas! Boom! Only 10% of us here in this country are Christian, but so what!
I was in Thailand last year at this time it was just the same. Christmas is like I remember from the 1960’s and everyone was thrilled to see my white (not Caucasian) face so they can wish me a Merry Christmas.
Last week in the mall, I waited to use the bathroom stall in the ladies room while listening to a traditional arrangement of Joy to the World like you would here at a Christmas Concert. The place was packed and I was surrounded by Muslim ladies with veils and headscarves and their kids.
I had a big smile on my face in awe to hear such music in a public place. One lady smiled back at me looking a little a little puzzled that I would be so happy waiting to pee. I pointed up to the speaker and said “Music” and she said “It’s Christmas” and every body smiled.
Joy to the World indeed!

~ I am posting this video to my son @bxlphabet’s account today. He hates everything politically correct and I know he would love this video. I’m missing you so much, my little Caleb. I hope you will be back soon.

Yes, it is not good over there. I notice a few years ago that all the "Christmas" stories were no longer about Christmas and the ads in magazines stopped being red and green. So strange! But now I have it all back again. WooHoo! ~ @fitinfun

Yea it’s an odd state of affairs the whole Christmas thing, I got strange looks from a customer I delivered too when I wished her “Merry Christmas” after she gave me an extra $5 tip even though her house was decked out with traditional Christmas ornaments.
I don’t get Holliday’s this time of year so it’s just not fitting for me and I’m not about to start speculating on people’s beliefs and say something like “Happy Hanukah”. Two words and only these two words “Merry Christmas” encapsulate the meaning of the season for me, supporting those in need through the act of giving with no intention of receiving!

Well 2% of the pop in the us is celebrating hanukah, so it's a good bet to go with the Christmas greeting. I do not know about the homeland though. You've got all the cultures up there. ~ @fitinfun
Ever since I am a grownup, I felt that Christmas is a secular holiday for all to enjoy.
Yes! Why make it anything less than all inclusive?

Joy to the world.
The fun part being here is we celebrate everyone's festival. Really....maybe a minority not. But majority just have fun celebrate each other's one...
So we have celebration all year long.. Nonstop.
Joy. Joy. Joy.
