Please Respect our Dtube Platform and create maximum one content in any given 24 hour period. Dtube is not a place to dump your contents all at once. Give other people chance as well.

  3. If you’re involved with Dtube the please spend 3 minutes of your valuable time daily..
to leave 7 comments on other Dtube contents in any given 24 period as minimum contribution.

Sort Order:

This is a great base line! I appreciate this content of yours like a reality check - as I now am back in Libano, Colombia, working to establish a new schedule, a new structure - it is important to remember what are the basics! The minimum is not just post and run! Better to have a video every other day with commenting and interaction than to upload videos everyday and pay attention to no one else - that is selfish!

We are building a culture - a society! Your efforts do not go unnoticed - keep up the thoughtful work my friend :)

(this is @ecoinstant accidentally cross-posting from my wife's laptop!)

First of all I want to tell you thank you for everything you are doing for dtube and steem. Thanks to creators of steem. Thanks to those who are doing their best to keep it on. Thanks for dtube creators and all those who created applications here and improve them. Thanks a lot for all those who are still here in steem what ever happen. Thanks to our followers and supporters. Thanks god we are alive and we have so much things in our life. Thanks for our relatives and family and friends. Thanks for everything. ☺

You are very, very welcome. ☺

Thank you Nathan for all of the contributions you have been giving monetarily and otherwise. I love your passion and your heart. I also loved the truth in this. If we do not address the issues with honesty we can not solve any problems. We must shine a light on what needs fixing so that we can all strive for better.

Saying thank you is free to do. It costs nothing. I agree with you whole heartedly. Why do people get comments and do not bother to respond? I have left meaningful comments that took my valuable time and not been responded to. I have been told expecting a response made me 'entitled'. I think it is the opposite. I think if people want others to engage them and can not be bothered to respond even with just two little words 'thank you'. They are the ones who in fact are entitled. Do they think they are famous like Pewdiepie and do not need to respond to their millions of fans? They seem to have overly inflated egos and are not humble. This is not YouTube. We do not have the amount of consumers that YT has. We have few in comparison. We can not afford to risk losing the few viewers/consumers of our content that we get. There are so little people here as it is. I think some people have egos and think they are rock stars. They are the ones who are actually acting 'entitled'.

I do not have to sit there and watch and respond to their video. But I do it because A. I enjoy content from an entertainment perspective, B. I love to engage and give honest feedback, and C. I see DTube for what it will be and not what it is now.. I believe in it and want to cultivate this platform and watch it flourish. Now having said that I could have spent time doing a million other things, and yet I choose to give my time to content consumption to help the Steem ecosystem. And for someone to not even bother with giving me a 'Thanks'. And then if I bring up the fact that they did not respond they say I am acting 'selfish' for noticing my comment goes totally ignored.. which is insulting to me as the consumer/customer. If that is how they are going to treat their fans/customers they will not go very far. They need to realize they are not Pewdiepie and humble themselves. Be thankful. Be grateful. Appreciate those who are taking the time to watch them, and comment on them. Life is short. If I take the time to watch someone and they can not be bothered to respond I will not return to their page. Why should I? No one wants to watch someone with a big ego and a lack of humility and appreciation for others. It is off putting and as a creator and an entrepreneur it is bad business on their part.

I understand you want only thank you but I really felt the need to say my thoughts on what you were speaking about.

Yes Steem is about people. All of Steemit is set up to connect people on a global scale. I also noticed the level of gossip and negative thinking. If I see people doing this I will just not associate with those types of losing attitudes. I will surround myself with winning mindset people. I see the bigger picture. I am here for long term. I am ready to build Steemit and DTube into the largest social networking site this world has ever seen. I will not allow negative people to hold me back. I will just leave them in my dust. They need to get the chip off of their shoulder and build. Or if they can't take the heat.. get out of the kitchen.

And if anyone is offended let them be offended. Facts don't care about feelings. You only said the truth. If they don't like the truth is it because they do not want to hear about what they are doing wrong to others and in fact they are also harming their own self as entrepreneurs. Customer satisfaction is number 1 in building a healthy business no matter what the business is. If they can not understand this it is not your problem dear Nathan but their own.

We all have a free will. We all choose how we live and treat others. Either negative people can hear this advice and grow as people, or leave. I will be busy over here doing all that I can to help this blockchain every possible way.

Thank you for this meaningful message Nathan.

Regards,

Thank you very much for the gift my friend!!

·

Send you a small gift bro :)

Thank you for taking the time to come up with plans to save dtube and the steem blockchain from the bear Market the cryptoverse is in currently. With leaders like you, we can all learn to be team players of this community to fight off any fear and doubt away from this ecosystem. I hope the community sees the efforts you're placing into this platform in the future, because you are definitely walking the talk of giving back. Thank you so much for doing everything you do for us. This is a great plan to increase quality engagement across dtube.

How did you come up with this idea (DTube Revolution?) This is a super cool and tough to create thing that you are doing, and it seems like something that only a specific type of person would do.

Thank you for all your dedication. For me personally, you have given me a huge amount of support. For others, I see you building this platform's group of people to be great content creators.

Whoa a video! This means a lot to me. For sure, I will do my best to keep going out of my box and trying to mix old and new. Cheers! :)

Thank you 😊

Your welcome 🤪

Alright so... for myself to leave 7 comments in 3 minutes is not possible unless not watching the videos 😉 let’s do some math (watching 7 videos approx 3 mins each) 21 mins + (7 insightful comments approx 3 mins each) = 42 mins estimated minimum time for making those 7 comments. Not arguing just saying I refuse to comment without viewing at least a portion of the video. Now being on the go, mobile data becomes an issue so there are circumstances adding to that concern with DTube curation but I always do my best.

Thank you for just being you my friend 😊

You're doing your BEST brother!!

Some people are creating 7 contents per day where nobody is watching their content. Nobody is willing to criticise or provide suggestions.

A true content creator loves feedbacks, suggestions, encouragement and only by commenting we can help them.

I've a personal story.. I've introduced Dtube to my friend of mine who was professional Videographer and he posted 3 videos on Dtube and he never got a single comment then he left. And he said to me Dtube is not welcoming new people and he felt like very closed community.

Many people are joining Dtube every single day and they need to be welcomed and they need some guidelines otherwise they just dump contents here.

In order to build something big we need more contributors and every single person should contribute a little as they can.

Nothing is personal but these are my view and you're being you and I'm not afraid being me!

·
·

That’s insane, props to them for making 7 videos in a day but dang that’s way to much content to drop in a day!

Yea I to have introduced a few people but they all wish for instant fame and success, it does not come that way sadly it takes much time and struggle with major networking.

Yet I am hopeful for being able to create my own social network here of people I know personally, hopefully filled with people I have helped to introduce.

I always appreciated your opinion my friend, true friends can discuss to an agreement without disagreeing to discuss 😉

I read all my comments because, that's how I know what to do next the amount of people that just post and leave no engagement, no reading comments is a clear indication to why so few people win, post and leave post of leave, imagine hosting a dinner in your home and putting down the plate and leaving the fucking house.

Dtube is like a family and Dtube content is like making dinner for your family. We're making content for others not just for us.

if someone say the dinner is delicious then we must say thank you. If someone share a comment about the dinner then a good family member will listen.

The most comment on the family dinner table is not about the dinner but it's about the person who made the dinner and other members who're enjoying having good meal with good people with some meaningful conversations.

As you said true friends can discuss to an agreement without disagreeing to discuss!!!

Always love your feedback and I'm happy to discuss anything to make positive impacts in others life :)

·
·
·
·

Usually I just accept all the burps from digesting my d00k13 as praise like the good olde Italian way 😅

You are right of course, creating content without acknowledgment takes a special kind of determination to continue! Verge of insanity type of perseverance!

You have a point. I can spend half an hour watching videos but if I don't have to say anything, I will just leave an upvote. I believe that if you watch a video and you have something that can add value, you can add that by commenting on the post. If you learn something by watching a video but you don't have anything that adds value or encourages discussion, just upvote the post. Upvote is the sign of showing gratitude and a way of saying thank you.
Thank you!

·
·

Yea I tend to spend most of my free time trying to keep up with comments and consistent in creation as while on mobile I can’t do to much curation as it eats all my data quick but I will almost always leave a comment even if just stating what I thought could have been better.... for me just votes don’t cut it as I myself crave the interaction from my viewers.

I know what your getting at as it can be a challenge to comment on subjects that don’t inspire conversation but in hopes of gaining what I desire I give it to others.... particularly on over looked posts... I tend to stay away from trending works as they receive plenty of love already thus supportive curation is my thing let’s say.

Thank you for everything you do for DTube and steem! I was just off the blockchain for about a week due to traveling, hanging out with family, and then being sick. It's funny how much I started missing the steem community and feeling bad that I wasn't supporting others with comments and upvotes. This place is awesome and I'm here to stay. Off to enjoy some posts... Cheers!

I have learnt so much from you Nathan, your energy, motive and drive towards the future of this blockchain is really amazing. Thank you for on boarding me into my passion.

First of all, Thank You lol. I agree with everythning else except this..

Please Respect our Dtube Platform and create maximum one content in any given 24 hour period. Dtube is not a place to dump your contents all at once. Give other people chance as well.

I don't see how posting more than 1 video is bad for DTube. It is kind of ironical. There are people who have a certain work schedule.. At this point @teamhumble comes to mind, he does one personal vlog and one SteemHunt Vlog, Daily!

In another instance,if I was to post a personal vlog early morning hours, and in between my day I come across a DTube SnapQ that I wanted to reply to, why do I have to wait 24 hours to upload my DTubesnap R? Idon't see it as dumping my content, it's contribution and engagement, something you have been pushing for very hard lately. So I hope you can understand my point Nathan.

·

First of all, Thank You as well!

I appreciate your feedback and respect your opinions!

Creativity helps eliminate the UNneccessaties of life.

If someone truly want to provide some kind of value to others through their contents then I'm sure they can use their own imaginations to provide the more value in one single content . Also if someone truly believe in Dtube's future and be part of it then we'll consider other content creators as well. Especially new ones.

DtubeSnapR should only be used when there is no way to give the answer for DtubeSnapQ in text format. Also I really thought people will ask honest and genuine question to our community and we can show the people who ask DtubeSnapQ there is REAL open minded community here on Dtube where everyone looking to help each other.

Also I recently start doing video response using YouTube to avoid creating DTubesnapR.

As we move forward we'll continue to evolve and find new ways to improve user experiences, communications, new development. So I'm working hard to find new collaborations and bringing in new developers and new investors to Dtube.

So please be patient and contribute what you can :)

Nothing is personal and I hope I explained my view. And I totally respect your view !

·
·

Yes Nathan. I am trying to understand your view.

I am just a really critical thinker, and I still don't understand how my uploading more than 1 video a day hinders new dtube vloggers, after all, DTube only supports one vlog per person per day, you have to understand some ppl are doing Steem fulltime, setting a 1 vlog per day is limiting and may turn some ppl away. I have personal friends like @phoneinf who can push 3 very quality vlogs per day (though he has cooled down lately), I don't mean to turn this into a debate, but how would you feel if you were in such people's shoes?

I think the term should have been at least one quality vlog per 24 hours... My take.

·
·
·

Please watch this video..

If someone is creating content here on Dtube just for money then creating more than one video just don't make sense.

If someone is improving their work and they need practise more than once day then we can use YouTube to practise and create better vlog with DTube

And if someone really dedicated to become good at creating valuable content then they should be asking constant feedback and seek constant improvement in their work.

One most importantly if someone here for long haul then they should focus on building the relationship others, creating a fanbase, looking for more collaborations..

If you're still not agree with my view then let's talk directly on Discord or Telegram or WhatsApp

·
·
·
·

Okay, thanks for the Video & Feedback. Cheers

Thank you sir

Blessings @nathanmars .... Thank you.... You motivate me alot...

I watched everything with rapt attention and I must say it's an educative 15 minute video I must tell you that I believe in what you're trying to build and I can feel your passion about the kind of people we have not wanting to help others build something but only here to reap the reward at the present conditioning, that's why I find it very imperative to support in my little way to people who are trying hard to become part of dtube's revolutionary journey.

It's a fifteen minute of total wisdom and knowledge to those who want to work hard to help build themselves by building others as well.
Wow this is the longest dtubesnap plus you've done and I must say I'm 100% with you in everything of this journey In other to bring the revolution to life.

Hardwork precedes wealth and like you said the future is making a billionaire, it only begins with us who has taken time to build it, cheers @nathanmars looking forward always

Thank you. I went to another Adelaide Steemit Meetup and it was great to discuss with people how we could bring more value to the platform.

There is a disturbing trend towards elitism and exclusion on DTube, ie, they are worried more about video quality than adding value.

I cut out all of the nonsense and get straight to the point.

·

I would love to take part in your meet-up sometime very soon.

Adding value and most important than creating quality of contents. We need more quality of people here on Dtube!

Nice hearing that you’re making efforts to add value to Dtube

What a passionate presentation! @nathanmars

I just wanted to say that giving thanks goes way beyond the DTUBE family; giving thanks should be a part of our daily routine and vocabulary. I am sorry that it is necessary to remind people of a simple goodwill that should never have to be a second thought.

As a newbie to Steem (I have not ventured onto Dtube yet), I have thanked everyone who has visited my blog, and I have done so with sincere gratitude, because without knowing people appreciate what you have shared with them, there is little motivation to continue. So, I agree wholeheartedly with what you say.

Thank you for the great reminder. 🤗

·

Thanks for your wonderfully written comment.

Please let me know if I can do something to help you start your Dtube journey.

I appreciated your comment :)

I'm sorry, my friend.
I don't repeat again. Thank you

Well I'm just 16 years old and I will complete my 17 year old within months and it's my promise that steemit and dtube will always found my support till my death so, I'm not here for only long term I'm here till my death 😊 and I don't care if steem price come to 0 I will always stand by with Steem and dtube :) because I know Steem & dtube will be much beneficial for us than we think.
And to be truthful Football is my favourite game and I can play on any position :)

As you said try to thanks atleast one people but I'm doing it from earlier 😊😊

I hope that your investment ideas should get successful 😊

Thank you @nathamars for providing a great support level to me really, I don't expect this support level from anyone. But I'm thankful that I found you

Have a great day and wonderful night 😊😊

Posting one content per day is a good idea. In this way we can go through everyone's content and there will be more engagement with more people.

I'm doing my part and will continue.

Thank you for your support and thank you to everyone who is involved in our dtube journey,

Have a good day everyone.

Thank you so much mr. @nathanmars for your suggestions for the more brothers D.Tube community. It's a beautiful concept to play a closer role with fellow D.Tuber, I am happy with that culture, and I have applied it to myself, it turns out that the commentary culture has a different sensation, we feel more brothers and sisters from all over the world.

Thank you so much for this much needed thought.

I am a member of the curation league of @abh12345, and from there learned the value of commenting and replying early on in this steemit voyage. I try to answer every single comment I ever get, and I am grateful for every one of them.

I always say thank you because I am Canadian and we thank people incessantly up there or we are shunned. I did not know this was unusual until I left the country.

Thank you brother for reminding us about saying simple thank you. Most of the time, some just don’t leave any comments. I always reply to people who commented my dtube video. What you’re doing here is great!
Please keep doing great things.

Cheers and Thank You
