Moving without Moving
What does that mean?
Well, due to a friend needing a space and moving in, I have been moving everything in my house around (plus have a whole other household coming in). Things have been a bit crazy - to say the least. You can tell by my hair LOL
I am showing you a progress repost and hopefully can show you soon the finished project :)
Have to keep it short today - much more moving to do and my back is still not my friend so I am moving slowly.

Yes, I am living a bookworm's dream. I have a hard time to let go of books - but have given away many. I used to read a lot of Agatha Christie books and always wanted one of those old English manor house libraries. books from top to bottom :)

Can you see if you have a green shoebox sized box, and a red leather-ish binder in all the junk my son took to your house? The box has all the "good" photos and the binder has things like my cpa cert.
They were too heavy to carry when I left, but I could never get Caleb to send them to me. If they made it to your house, this would be a miracle.
If you could put those two things were they will not be damp, I will be so grateful. Maybe I will even get to see them again one day.
I'm worried about your back. Stretch in bed - morning and night :)

Moving and rearranging always require alot. Body energy and brain energy and etc. And organised them all nicely in those sturdy shelf. Great job.

For sure. And I will do more. But I want to take my time. I have done that often in a hurry and always things get tossed I need later and others I hold onto and have no idea why 🤪

I have done the same thing. Given things away and then a week later found a use for it and wished I had it back!
That is how it is half of the time - and the other half you know you have it and can't find it LOL

I have given away so many books! But I do love them!
The clearing out will be ongoing. There is a trend in the US right now called death clearing or something like that. Anyway, the idea is that if you die, the people left behind don't have a big huge mess to deal with. I am not planning on dying anytime soon. But for one, we never know when that happens, and two, it is good to simplify. Less to clean and take care off that gives more time to do fun things :)

I didn’t know there was such a thing
But this is why I started clearing this year
Because Mum was a hoarder
And when she left it was so hard to give her things away
And now Dad has gotten rid of many things so we won’t have to go through it again
And I started so the kids won’t be stuck with my rubbish
But I am not planning to leave anytime soon either hahaha
