DTube Snap - First Time Blue Apron
My sweet friend Ginger, co-host and producer of the Outlander Podcast, gifted me a box of Blue Apron meals.
This is the very first time that I had first hand experience with a food subscription service like this. I am always open for new experiences.
So far, we had the Jalapenjo Burger. Our fist reaction was that the portions are a bit small. The food was good, but I expected the flavors to be stronger. The Jalapenjo wasn't hot at all and the goats cheese was rather mild.
Still, a tasty meal.
Overall, I wouldn't spend almost $ 50 on two meals for two people. But I am an experienced cook and a savy shopper. I think it is great for people who would like to learn to cook and want to try new things without having to buy big portions of all the ingredients.
