RE: How To Use Eggshells And Ash In The Garden

in #dtubesnap6 years ago

So, I burn wood for like 8 months of the year. Suggestions for the mega ashes that I collect besides as a dust bath for my chickens? I disagree about the grease and cooked veggies. I use bokashi on all my kitchen scraps, in my compost, and in my garden. The bokashi are microbes in fermented wheat bran and they help break everything down. I have not done a hot compost in a long time and would love a follow-up video to see the temperatures in your compost and what it looks like in the 18 days. Thanks @gardeningchannel.
