@nathanmars, I think we have to create different kinds of content, in order to bring different kind of audiences to DTube. For example, I will start doing one show (talking about crypto) once a week.
I agree that variety of contents are important however we also need to create content based on Demand..
So many Dtube contents are not consumed and So many questioned not got answers from the community..
for example.. @shaidon and @nicholaslive had questions within their Dtube content and no one in our community had provided any answers.. Also @bobaphet contents giving me some indication about our main issues with Dtube community.
So DtubeSnapQ will solve few issues that we currently have as well as create new use cases for Dtube and When we've new use cases then new users will join our DtubeFamily!
So for example in your one show (talking about crypto) people can ask you original questions regarding their own personal crypto journey and you'll answer them but the person who ask the question should be rewarding you directly.
Once we've Live function get activated again with Dtube you'll experience where content consumers directly rewarding content creator. And DtubeSnapQ is little different where Content creator reward the content contributor..
Yes, you are right about the lack of content consumerism. I made a vlog recently, offering 10SBD in rewards, and the response was so bad, I actually only got to give away 6 out of the 10 being offered.
I made the video in such a way, so that you'd have to watch it, to find out how to get the SBD.
I think a huge part of the problem though is that dtube users right now are about 99% content creators. Whereas with youtube, it is about 90-99% consumers, with a 1-10% creator base. I feel that this problem will persist, until we get, through partnerships, a consumer audience for the dtube dapp. In order to get this though, we need content that is of interest to people, to want to come to the dapp. New innovations and creative experimentation are going to be necessary, for this delelopment to occur.

I strongly believe that Dtube need passionate community as the foundation and yes we need new innovations and creative experimentation are going to be necessary to make the Dtube Revolution :)
