Yes, you are right about the lack of content consumerism. I made a vlog recently, offering 10SBD in rewards, and the response was so bad, I actually only got to give away 6 out of the 10 being offered.
I made the video in such a way, so that you'd have to watch it, to find out how to get the SBD.
I think a huge part of the problem though is that dtube users right now are about 99% content creators. Whereas with youtube, it is about 90-99% consumers, with a 1-10% creator base. I feel that this problem will persist, until we get, through partnerships, a consumer audience for the dtube dapp. In order to get this though, we need content that is of interest to people, to want to come to the dapp. New innovations and creative experimentation are going to be necessary, for this delelopment to occur.
