I stopped uploading any content to You Tube almost a month ago. I'm now 100% blockchain exclusive in my video, music and live streaming.
I'm happy to announce I've been 100% blockchain exclusive with ALL my content for going on 1 month and plan to stay this way in the future. I've expressed my love for the blockchain in countless previous videos and I've got full faith in the future of Dtube.
I do plan to release a album once a year with full cd/record runs and merchandise. This album will obviously not be blockchain exclusive but the blockchain will make the whole thing possible with exclusive content .

Yeah Todd, Youtube doesn't care about the little guys as they proved this by taking away monetisation when once again changing the youtube monetization rules. You work hard to meet their first requirements and then they change them on you.

I've resisted YouTube for years! Even knowing it's the biggest streaming service in the world. Which means, it's a struggle to be seen. Much tighter community here. Quality over quantity seems more prevalent, for sure. And the number of views you need to make a few cents on YouTube is just ridiculous!
Yea, it's insane the view count vs payout rate. I'm glad I found a new home. The people here are much better too =)
