One Yeti's Perspective #33: Don't look down!

For the last few days I have seen a growing level of concern and anger. People are starting to see the wars going on between larger accounts. They are even starting to receive downvotes.
Each day we log into the blockchain to share our creations. To share our thoughts and ideas. The blockchain is a huge place with a lot of people.
Don't get caught up with the fake accounts or the bot issues.
If you have come here to be creative and to meet new people...do it. There are no excuses. Don't engage the negative. Don't pay attention to the negative. Just do you, and push forward. If everyday turns into you fearing the outcome...we will never get to see what you are capable of! 🙃

I don't understand the purpose of downvoting either. Flagging makes sense, but if you don't like something, just don't view/read it.
Right! There are plenty of things that I don't personally view as quality so I just scroll by it. It would work itself out.

I agree with you. Ignore the bot and flag wars. They get you nowhere. Just keep your head down and do what you know best. Write your blogs, do your videos and curate. No need to get involved in the negativity...

What a message Yeti. I once commented on a post on someone who actually inspired me to get on steemit. That person was getting a lot of negativity and I posted something like "hey keep your head up. You helped me..." Well he got down voted and anyone who had something good to say got down voted by these bots, including me. I felt so discouraged at that point. I had just signed up. I felt like I was an innocent bystander at a drive by shooting.
Yikes! You definately were! That is terrible. I am glad you didn't quit!
I'm in agreement. Best to just tune it out and do your thing.
