Amphoe Phen Bus Stop Traffic in Northern Thailand

Little did I know while standing in the mid-day sun and 110 degrees of Northern Thailand that I would still be here two hours later. By the time I wanted to give up, I was too hot and weak to move.

This Amphoe Phen bus stop saw little traffic in the middle of the day. None of it was the type of vehicle I could get a ride in. most of the normal people were inside somewhere having their siesta.

Luckily I was protected by the shade of a utility pole, and I had my umbrella, water, other drinks and food. Otherwise, I might not have made it to share this tale with you today.
