The means to enlisting Africa in the Steem blockchain is through steemexchanger.ng.
An African Dedicated exchange platform for Steem and SBD. SteemExchanger is on the move to give the African Steem Ecosystem the ability to convert 35 Fiat currencies to STEEM or SBD and vice versa. The platform was launched with the ability to convert SBD directly to Naira (Nigeria's currency and Nigerians of course makes up the largest portion of the African Steemit Community.)

The platform on its day of launch with little or no publicity saw over 500 new registrants which obviously surpassed the expectations of the Team.
