Understanding and knowing how to upload a video on DTube
has been a ton in the flesh for many newbies. They keep on
asking what is DTube?, how does it work? How can i upload a
video on DTube?, What and what do i need?.
Well i guest you have found the right answer because am going to
explain step by step with pictures on how to navigate your way
through the DTube platform.
Understanding what is DTube
DTube is more like Youtube, is basically to upload a video to
steemit through it directly other than Youtube were you have to
upload the video then copy the link to steemit. DTube is basically
the decentralized steem based blockchain portal that gives you
the access to upload your video directly to steemit.
DTube is linked to Steemit which directly allow users to upload
videos easily and make SBD's through the up votes from their
videos.
How to sign in to DTube

As a new user, to sign in to Dtube, you need your steemit user name
and your steemit posting key. This the items is the only thing you
need to gain access to DTube.
When you click on sign in as indicated by the picture above, it will
take you to a page were you can input those credentials as
illustrated in the picture below.

From the picture above, the first arrow labeld 1 is the space to input
your steemit user name while the second is the space to input your
steemit posting key.
How to get Your Steemit Posting Key

To get you posting key, ofcorse you must be a steemit member
already. Simply go to your wallet, then click on permission.
When it opens, click on show private key on right side of the
posting key, it allows you to be able to copy the posting key.

There are two ways to upload videos on DTube. From the
picture above the upload section on the top right is one way
and the upload sign on the left hand side is another way to
view the area were your video can be uploaded.

After successfully login to your Dtube channel handle, the
next phase is to know process of on how to go about uploading
your first video to DTube.
