RE: Travel Pro Places of Interest Video Tour #38: Privoz Market in Odessa, the Largest and Most Famous Market in Ukraine! Part Five (6 min video)

in #dtube5 years ago

Thank you Denise! Hard to believe but I've got so much material, that this was filmed back in August of last year and I'm just getting around to posting it now! So hopefully I'll have improved my video making skills since then. But so glad to hear this one was good.

In fact I've got some plans to really take my videos to the next level, you should have seen my first videos I started making in the Galapagos about a year and half ago. They were horrible! I was super nervous and awkward on camera. I've now got the skill to pretty much being myself on camera, I just needed to improve the actual filming, audio, editing, and content itself. More action, info, and interesting things, maybe less of me rambling. Any advice or constructive criticism is always welcome.

Yes, Ukraine is not the most English Friendly country. Asian countries, especially South East Asian Countries are much more so, from my experience, especially my favorite.....Thailand!

Thanks for leaving the link to your post. I'll go ahead and connect this post to yours now.

On my way to Barcelona (at the airprot in Sofia Bulgaria)

Have a great day!

Thank you! You need to do yourself a favor and pull out some of the old ones you may have had that are not at the level you are now. They will grab more attention as the new ones seem to be less rambling and awkwardness and much more yourself.

Slower panning and filming. I would rather seen three good booths than the whole market in a whirl.Show me your purchase, if you do. You can price one or two things, and give the exchange rate. Stop and focus on something when you are doing it, not on a walk through.

These are not criticisms. I see a lot of video from shopping and just things I think might help you. You go so many places so quickly. You also can go to other places, such as a zoo, museum. Anyplace that you pay for.

It would be different and in addition to your markets.

We enjoy your posts!

Awesome! Great advice. Will certainly keep these things in mind next time I'm out and about, which will be tomorrow in Barcelona.

Yes I've done zoo videos, museum videos, heck I just published a cemetery tour in Prague half an hour ago, that Dtube gave me a nice upvote for! I do all sorts of tour videos. But I seem to enjoy markets the most, and visit them more than other places combined! All these videos are usually titled under Travel Pro Places of Interest.

"Slower panning and filming. I would rather seen three good booths than the whole market in a whirl."

Again great advice. I'll certainly see if I can apply it tomorrow. It will be good practice for me.

I actually have a bigger plan I'll let you in on..... I'm getting back with my x girlfriend from Ecuador she has film, model, and radio experience, besides being a sweet loving girlfriend. So every thing you've seen is just me doing it for fun, amature, hobby, carefree...

Well, we're hoping to GO PRO! See if we can together get things on a level of successful youtuber (and steemit of course). I'm thinking youtube is where the big big audience is, and where the big money can be made too if successful enough.

I'm thinking we really get serious about making all sorts of travel videos, advice videos (I've got 16 years of international living/travel experience) use a video drone, quality sound, well thought out subject matter, quality filming, audio, editing, music, intro, incorporate interviews better with locals and travelers. Really take it to the next level. She and I will be teaming up and setting out for adventures traveling and filming in August. I'm excited to see how much I/we can improve.

TMI! haha I get to writing and I can't stop.

Thanks again D and keep up the great work you are doing!
