The WCP Book Club - Elizabeth Oblivion reads "Frankenstein"
Here is the second installment of The WCP Book Club on DTube. Today we have a local model from Stevens Point, WI - Elizabeth Oblivion, reading one of our favorite excerpts from Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein".
Elizabeth is super fun to work with and did a great job during her readings. Since it was a horror themed passage, we went with black/white and some interesting audio effects. The intro music is "Werewolves" by Corpse Show Creeps.
Elizabeth is one of the few brave souls who answered our model call on social media. We're always looking out for local people to include in our projects, but it's harder to get people to show up than you would expect - even for paid work. We try to use our projects and resources to support our local community whenever possible. Elizabeth is the perfect example of a talented young model who takes a good opportunity when presented.
We hope you enjoy this fun little video series. It's just a good way for us to make content, meet people from the community, and promote publishing and literacy in general. Thanks!
