I must show you my bathroom... it's filled with plants, which is awesome for air pollution. I need to get more for rest of the house!

Oh yes, show us around please. Might work as an inspiration for me.

I have plants and lumps of charcoal hanging around the house. I also clean and dust religiously. But let's not kid ourselves good ventilation and filtration of air is most important. Definitely need a kitchen and bathroom vents. Always on when in use. Air exchanger to bring in fresh air and pre filter it and hepa filters all over the place.
Actually I once had a steak bbq in my dining room with a camp stove on the table (ie. cooking away from the vent) and the air meter went up to 700ppm. Normally its like 3 to 7 ppm. It took a couple hours to get back down to normal....

Oh god 770 ppm sounds crazy compared to 3 to 7 ppm. In my city, 300 ppm is normal, this is the kind of air we are living in - deep sigh.

Good to know you have so much to take care of air inside your home.
Lumps of charcoal - how does this help?

In my city 60 is about normal and 150 on bad days.
Charcoal absorbs microparticles in particular benozene and odors. Unlike baking soda, it lasts a long time. It is used in water and air filtration for this purpose. I put small logs of it in little pots in closets and cupboards and even in plant pots next to plants and my fridge. It is not as efficient as an air filter, because of small flow rates.
Just don't confuse it with coal and becauseful of the dust when you first get it. They make it especially for the purpose I use it for.

wow in the closets and cupboards too, you are a very conscious person when it comes to indoor air, amazing. I will look around on how can i get it, I think it must be cheap as well. For how long do you keep it in lets say your closet?

It needs to be changed from time to time? and then what do you do with the old one?

I've had most of mine going for about 1 year each. The ones in the fridge, bathroom or garbage room go faster. The harder it works, I guess. Actually, when I notice things getting musky again, I just remove it. I just break it up and use it in my next BBQ. Just don't buy the easy igniting stuff which is coated in chemicals.

Fridge, bathroom, garbage room - yup sounds like the harder is works.
Breaking it up and using in bbq - wow you use stuff pretty effectively.

I live mostly outdoors, but i do keep my windows open ever day, I am in a small space though but circulating the air is so important. I don't buy any household cleaners there is just no need, I have 5 lemon trees on the land I live on and lemons are great for cleaning just as you said xx

Oh yes lemons are angels - for cleaning both in and out. :)
