RE: Raj808 Dtbue Znap7 Introduction
Nice work you behind a lot I have received a curie award ages ago now I know a face! My journey has fluctuated on Steem but have not go into the online chatting just can't focus on it. I need to get into the communities but seem to have been on the edges as I don't do discord. Amazing work you are doing an inspiration to us and inspiring me to get more creative and up my game, many thanks!
Recently I have started a podcast on Dsound; this I find easier due to my dyslexia! It's going ok not a lot of feedback but votes and attention so it's being listen to. Which it bring back my creative as I want to do some poetry and I feel confidence in my words which I can get across better verbal. 💯🐒
Hey bro @vibeof100monkeys. The one thing I will say is that you were one of the people I first noticed on steem over a year ago. I might have even been one of the people that submitted you for a curie, I can't remember that far back. Curie have really stringent rules about length of content and quality and my specialty is fiction, poetry, philosophy, nature and travel articles. Anything else, I never submit. But I remember you disappeared for quite a while but I'm really glad to see you back on steem.
I know it is hard to get involved with the discord communities but it is absolutely something that will change things in regards to how many people actually end up interacting with your content (and listening or viewing it). I always tell people that it is a simple choice; either network or don't expect to grow. Right now, steem is not a place that will ever reward a content creator only based on their content, unless it is exceptional, the way to succeed is to network and build relationships. I used to spend a huge amount more time in discord communities than I do now but I still go on discord at least 2 days out of seven (even now when I'm hugely limited by my illness). If you want any advice about how to manage networking as a introvert I am more than happy to spend a bit of time giving you some advice.
It doesn't have to be a chore or a intimidating experience as long as you find one or two communities that compliment what you are doing in so far as the content you produce. The wat to go about it is to make sure you don't over extend yourself with to many communities, which is something I made a mistke doing.
Comment me back, and if I can find the right communities that will help you to grow with your podcast, I will definitely take the time to find the links to the discord communities that will support you and where you'll find like minded individuals.
By the way, I listened to one of the two podcasts you have recorded. I'm so sorry I didn't comment but I'm slammed on steem sometimes to interact as much as I would like. I listened to you podcast on my mobile phone at 2 am in the morning on partiko and then forgot to give feedback before I went to sleep.
Nice one thanks for the support yes I do remember you dropping by in the early days, think I only started out just before. Glad you listened, I growing with it and it'll take a while to build the confidence but it's a much easier way to produce content for me. I've always seen myself as a communicator and talker so would love to spread more of my thoughts to a wider audience.
Some assistance would be great! Think I've just never really got into the online chatting thing and am a bit lost as to it really, there just so many people there chatting at the same time it kinda confuses me maybe it's my dyslexia or OCD. I'll look forward to some tips, nice one 💯🐒
