My Steemit Inspirations & What I Learned From Them
In this post, I will talk about my inspirations on Steem and the lessons that I learned from them.
Just yesterday after some reflection I have realized that everyone I have met so far in real life or offline cannot take my harshness and this came with serious disadvantages for me.
These people started to avoid me, they called me asshole and in case of Steemit, I lost some money. I don't care about the first two but losing money ain't no joke as I need money to survive just like everyone else.
So I looked for some solutions and inspirations on how to fix that. I actually had the solutions right in front of me but sometimes you don't see the forest because of all the trees.
HUMANEARL
@Humanearl is my inspiration when it comes to dealing with people. He is very good at getting people to discuss on his posts and he always looks friendly and kind, however, I mean that in a strong sense, maybe some people don't see it.
But I have the ability to see which people are strong and who are just faking it, Humanearl is not someone that fakes it even tho he is very friendly and kind.
I know that because he is open minded, takes criticism, takes cold ass showers, creates awesome work and doesn't hate you for a different opinion. Only strong people can do that.
He is a master at packaging criticism or advice in kindness and besides all that I simply like the work that he creates whether it's music or videos.
HOPEHUGGS
@hopehuggs is the epitome of kindness and she has a lot of allies. She sent me a 1K SP delegation and she bought me multiple books for Christmas.
She wins a lot of prices and she knows how to connect people with each other. She is a Blood-Shaman in the team and that is because she is a good networker.
I am glad to have her on my team. Here is a picture of her and her insane children (someone get an Exorcist!)
Conclusion
I am grateful to know them and to be in contact with them. Humanearl supports me since I started here on Steem which was 4 months ago and I will never forget that. The same is true for Helen's gift and work in the Berserkers.
A good lesson that I learned today on the first day of the new year through reflection!

You push me as well bro. Just keep doing what you're doing man. Keep inspiring, keep creating, and keep being Phil. Many won't understand but keep moving. It gets hard. I know the feeling of people not getting you. But that's been my whole life.
Understand that people are just people and you are you. One thing we can learn is that although kindness can be seen as a weakness it is actually one of the greatest shows of strength. It takes courage to be kind to people when they are no so friendly to you. Hopefully we deal with people in respectful and kind ways even if they show no respect or kindness back. Talk about growth. This is growth and it takes much strength.
I'm with you man. I'm here to help any way I can.
Thank you Earl. What you say reminds me of this scene:
Having an opinion has rarely earned me friends in life. I have to really watch my tongue around most people, because they still have so much life learning to experience before they can accept some of the harder truths. My more mature friends are willing to put up with a lot more differences of opinion, so long as my behaviors are backed by integrity.

Fantastic comment CT.
You're here for 4 months and you grow up right before our eyes. YOU're making the right conclusions and suggest the right things that work. I have no support as you, but I try to share smart advice, and do not plan to give up, and that's why I try to stay close to those people which can be something to learn, and who by example show what they can do. This is important and it's something that can give us Steemit
Thank you Frank!
You are a very loyal commenter.
Enjoy my upvote.
Oh Noes! That picture gets me everytime.
In all honesty though, you can clearly see she loves them and the companionship they carry.
She is an inspiration for all of the team, and I definitely think Blood Shaman should forever be a rank of her own.
Cheers
Blood shamans are now council members.
I wrote about the person who inspires me most on my Steemian of the year post, which as you know was you.
Every day your content is awesome (and yes tough), yet today's surprised me in a good way. I have been thinking all day what I wanted to say about this post, other than its awesome and I'm touched that I have somehow inspired you. I'll leave it at that.
Thank you Helen.
I really am impressed about your self-reflection. I think you are right about being harsh and softening a little bit will make you more diplomatic. I like your stuff. I hope this new attitude will work out well for you. :)
Thank you Flauwy, I hope so as well.
I've already said it before. I've check out @humanearl and followed him. Just one post and I'm so into him. Life lessons and stuff. ^^
Helen is the best as I always say. Not a bad bone in her body. ^^
Indeed!
Kind but firm, it's a powerful position. People will want to change for you.
Harshness works for boot camp like settings. It can motivate but it can also drive people away. And possibly gives quicker results.
Hard to know when to use one vs the other.
That was my realization as well.
You basically gave the answer already. It is good for people that want to improve asap and whatever it takes, aka strong people will want to here the cold truth.
Everyone else needs "kind truth".
Good comment Evan.
It's awesome to see how you're growing as a human thanks to the support of the Steemit community. I haven't been here all that long, but even after a couple weeks the strength of this community is evident. I'm proud to say I am a member of Steemit and hope I can begin to give back throughout 2018.
Thank you Moneyinfant.
