Binary Finary - 1998 - one of my all time Favs
I play and post a lot Techno and Trance, this is one of the very very very best Tunes ever produced - and it is from England which is hard to realize for us Germans as we think we invented that music genre . but it is a true hymn! So kudos to the production team! Simply EPIC!
How come? The project of English DJs
Binary Finary is based on a get-together of a bunch of producers who met in Portsmouth in the late 90ies playing Live PA's locally for a couple of years - it took at least two years until their track 1998 entered the UK charts and the rest is history! I used to play it in my DJ sets end of the 1990ies and always thought must be a German production. I was wrong! This piece has been the first non vocal piece of electronic music to enter the UK top 40.
