Is the crypto-world ready for Skycoin?

The Skycoin project hails from the early Bitcoin days but has only recently gained much needed traction in terms of price support. The tokenizing cryptocurrency (akin to Ethereum in that sense) reimagines how "mining" can be done and recreates its own network in order to bypass the potential future restrictions of Internet Service Providers. Time will tell how the crypto community will approach Skycoin, but it's clear that increasing anxieties have sent this coin's price skyrocketing over the past few weeks.
