Music Is But Balance

It's human nature to like balance whether it's about food or one of the four seasons. Music is nothing but balance. Lose the balance and it will turn into noise. If we have to choose between music and noise our choice will always be music. It's so natural.

Since we're all different so we've different liking. This applies to our musical taste as well. Despite all these differences, there are some musical scores that have become standard and we remember those musical contributions as Evergreen Hits. This music is special because it never always remains the same and it's everlasting. The reason that made this music evergreen is the fact that it was created in the best environment where all the perfect pieces got connected at the same time. Environment does determine the conscious and in those times, people had more time and all the skill-set to create melodious numbers that will keep influencing the generations for centuries and will keep spreading the message of harmony, balance and contrast.

Indo-Pak Music Dominate The Region

India Pakistan are rival on many fronts. This rivalry often times becomes blessing in disguise because a healthy competition takes place and this improves the performance on both sides. Both sides have produced some heavenly playback voices like Madam Noor Jehan, Mehdi Hassan, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Mukesh, Ahmad Rushdi to name a few. These playback voices are special because they created something matchless and their scores are used as guides for the new generations of playback signers. Same goes for the music directors of those times. Khawja Khursheed Anwar, Syed Naushad, Shankar Jaikishan, O.P.Nayyar, G.A.Chishti, Madan Mohan and Robin Gosh are some of my most music directors of that era. Though I like the contemporary playback music as well but it has less music and more noise in it. it represents the current commercialized world. However, sometimes, we see a glimpse of purity in modern playback music and it refreshes our memories of the golden era music. In playback singers, Mohammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar have been my all time favorites and their songs always take me to another world. I've many favorite playback music composers but Madan Mohan remains the most favorite of all. Indo-Pak music dominates the region. Unfortunately, the Pakistan film industry lost it way during 80s and has never been able to get back on track since then. Contrarily, Bollywood kept moving in the right direction and today, it's one of the largest film and music producers in the world. (I'll write another post on this topic)

Untalented-singsong Contest Meets SUReela

SUReela means melodious and this is a Facebook page dedicated to help the hidden musical talent get some outreach. I've been a music lover and have a great liking for singing as well. So, I can related to this problem when you don't have talent and don't know how to get your voice to the right audience. I've spent years in social media marketing. So, my Social Media Marketing skills gave me a reason to provide the unheard voices a platform where they could share their singing videos. I've not been very active on this channel but still there are 1000+ fans who actively participate whenever I post on the page. SUReela also has a YouTube channel. @surpassinggoogle has always been an influential and supporting figure for numerous Steemians. Almost all his tags are trending at Steemit and in Google searches as well. This new tag called #untalented-singsong is a great initiative and opportunity primarily for those who has got singing talent. Since, I'm already in contact with many good voices who barely earn even a single penny through this talent, so bringing them to Steemit and then help them earn some bucks by posting under this tag would be a great contribution to their lives and to Steemit as well. To make this contest more influential, I've a plan that I believe can work just like chain-reaction.

To simplify it for the singing talent here in sub-continent, I'm going to post a challenge with a song title and the singers are going to sing and record that song. Whosoever gets more upvotes/payout, wins. The purpose is just to add some more fun to this contest. The more posts under this tag will help rank it high at Steemit.
