I am out of my ideal grind right now too, cause I temporarily started working full time between semesters which threw me RIGHT OUT of my groove and now by the end of this week school will be back again and I'll need to readjust another time to a new habit xD
By the way, ridiculous tuitions are more than you think when it comes to some American schools ive heard of, its almost like it's a norm in some regions to be 100k in debt. Which is insane to me too. Up here my tuition per semester is about 2.5k and that's pretty much the same no matter where you are here in Canada since we got state-run schools.
They ain't private, subsidized by taxes. I think private universities are a damn rip off.
