Xhaust is a site that uses GPS tracking files to help athletes train, as well as share their progress. It's similar to apps like Strava, or Runkeeper. You can get a detailed look at your pace over the duration of a run -- or check out the maps and elevation gains of a big hike like the one you posted about.

No specific tags are needed -- just a matter of logging a new activity via the xhaust.me interface, and creating a new post.

Exhaust is set as a 20% beneficiary to posts created through the site. All of the liquid beneficiary rewards that are earned through the site are redistributed to all athletes, each Sunday morning, proportionally based on:

  • Distance ran; or
  • Distance cycled; or
  • Distance hiked; or
  • Time spent practicing yoga

Sports are separated out -- so cyclists build up the reward pool for cycling, same with running, hiking and practicing yoga.

Check out the FAQ (some stuff might be out of date) for more, or feel free to ask myself or @mstafford as many questions as you'd like.

Cheers! Looking forward to seeing some more hikes!
