Hey man :) I can relate to your problems with the cold. I am getting older as well everyday. The cold has been fun in the childhood but from year to year it becomes more unconfortable :P But I need to get in my garden in winter because I need to build a few things and loud building noises are forbidden in summer.. crazy german gardening laws.. ^^

Yes the interesting thing about the US is the diverse climates all within one country. From artic in Alaska to arid in Arizona to tropical in Hawaii or Florida and everything in between lol.
