currently I fill all my lunch breaks
.. with flying of my new drone because I believe , no I know, that practise leads to experience and know how. But that's not the only reason. I spend so much time also with this little baby because it is fun to play around! The side effect is that I get more and more comfortable with the ultra sensitive controller of this drone.
Btw: Sorry for the clickbait title. But this slogan came in my mind and I had to use it for this video ;)
There are some settings to smooth it up but compared to my previous drone this baby is much more sensitive and powerful.
Additionally I am learning how to edit these shots. Even if I cut all my videos on my smartphone (soon I have a gaming notebook in my hands to do this :D) I am learning a lot about the specifics of drone footage.
I spend a lot of time with composing the images before flying by just look around before hitting the record button.
This video was cutted together from around 25min footage and I had to cut out a lot of failed tryouts. But like I have said in the beginning: Practise leads to experience :)
I have some stuttering shots in this video. I believe it is because a bad combination of shutter speed, framerate, speed of the drone and too much slowdown in post. My smartphone cutting program could be the tip of that iceberg. We will see in future when I am cutting on a pc.

Is mavic 2 pro the newest latest one? And is this the town where you live? pretty small one :) altho, at least it's not soo stressful like metropolitan cities..
Yeah it is one of the newest models from dji :)
It is the one with the 1'' sensor. The other one has got a zoom lense but I wanted to have the most detailed image possible (regarding the pixelinformation - not the sharpness ;) ) because it has got super awesome low light capabilities and this was a big nono with my old drone :) Also dji released a drone with a thermographic camera on board for emergency rescue people. They are so smart :P
I hope that my finished results will be much better when I am cutting them on the coming notebook because I can change the fps of the timeline, colorgrade way better and most important - can edit h.265 footage instead of "just" h.264. In this new color profile are extremely more pixel informations than in the common h.264 standard. We will see :P
This is the village where my work is :) I am living directly near an industrial district in the heart of hamburg :D Soooo stressful life ^^
