MY FIRST UNBOXING VIDEO | The Roving Vlogger Day 80 (2017-12-18)
For my 80th vlog, I'm trying something new and posting on DTube! I was using Youtube before for the sake of my dad, who is my primary viewer and more used to the ole centralized model. Seriously though, my Youtube account has 3 subscribers (my parents and my boyfriend) so it's not like I'm tied to it. For this transition video, I will post it in both places and see what happens.

My day started in a pointless melancholy. I heard about the Amtrak derailment that happened nearby and just started fixating on all these sad things and crying a lot. I didn’t feel like working or taking a walk or inviting people over so I just made brownies.
Fortunately, a Christmas package from my parents arrived just at the right moment! (Even though I explicitly told them not to get me anything. They never listen. I love them.)
This is the first Christmas that I will be spending apart from my family, since we made the difficult decision to just go to Montana this year after recently spending a whole month with my parents in Spain.
I couldn’t wait to open it, so I just dug right in. Inadvertently creating my first unboxing video! So now you can watch and see how spoiled I am.
Most of the goodies were inspired by our trip to Spain. I was so worried that they didn't enjoy it, because the entire month my mom talked about how much she missed home. But their presents showed just how much they valued our time together, which was the best part of the gift. :D
