My last summoner character was spectacular; but fell in the Labyrinth. Burning floor, and Spinning spikes and lag are a potent combination.
I had a great setup going on. Raise Spectre Phantasm on Kill, with Infernal Legion support and the Minion Instability node.
Killing somebody summons a Spectre which does burning damage for 5 or 6 seconds, then explodes. Bedlam :)

I might reroll that concept myself, when the new league drops on the xbox.
Kill 5 or 6 low level grunts, suddenly you have 3 spectres on the field, burning anyone who gets close, then exploding. It really was fun. Spectres have a chance to proc on hit, too, so even single boss targets are vulnerable.
Grab Infernal Legion support if you can find it.
It works best on auto-summoned minions like phantasms and spectres, as they're short lived anyway.
