New Release of DTube for Steemit
One of the most exciting parts of Steemit now is the video service called DTube (for “Decentralized”). It gives you the ability to create videos within the Steemit community and get paid for them. Unlike YouTube, it is also dedicated to being uncensored and feely share lots of different kinds of content.
This is a video you want to see. I talk with Adrien, known on Steemit as @heimindanger about the brand new release of DTube, version 0.2, and the advantages users will get from it. is there any talk of getting a team together to build this platform out? if nothing else, to broadcast the message in a focused way? I'd love to be a part of that team. I want to see YouTube in flames for what they're doing to free speech.
There definitely needs to be a DTube app!
YEs, a DTube app for mobile would be great. I think he's got his plate full for now but that is good for the future.

dtube is potentially one of the most exciting things to have happened to the internet in the last 10 years, if it goes the way we are all hoping it will and launches fully in the mainstream to rival Youtube then it will be a game changer ...... the catch 22 though is how to police it, on the one hand you want it to be fully decentralised on the otherhand we all know that there are some vids out there that have no place on cyber space, where is the balance ..... thats where critical thinking comes in

Yes, you hit the nail on the head. Most reasonable people want free speech. However, we also know that there are other videos that are contemptible and we don't want them. I think that @heimindanger has a good approach. Thank you for sharing what you said. Right on target!

You can use DTube now. As long as you're a registered member of Steemit you can access it. Go to DTube.video and you'll be able to create and publish your content. Let us know how it works out for you.

DTube.video is where you go. That should do it.

that should generate the key you need to post on dtube
