[DTUBEDAILY] I POWERED UP MY STEEM WITH DTUBE PAYOUT #exclusivedtube
Hey guys,
I received a payout from Dtube last and rather than cashing out i took advise from @paolajane and @kevinLI and powered up my Steem power. It's still negligible, I heard i need to have 200 steem power before it becomes meaningful but at least we are getting there little by little.
At the time I powered up i felt so conflicted because I needed the cash to sort out certain personal things, however with the reviews I keep seeing on powering up I think I made the right decision. Next time though I will remember to use the market option to buying stem before powering up to steem power as opposed to what I did converting SBD to steem power on blocktrades.
This post by @surpassinggoogle is a great resource: https://steemit.com/steemit/@surpassinggoogle/the-masses-are-flocking-in-on-steemit-so-gather-steem-power-now-if-you-are-minnow-powering-up-will-also-help-you-with-bandwidth
@kevnli also shared some great posts on powering up:
I however need some guidance and understanding on how powering down works lol. Guess I have a long way to go in learning the entire steemit ecosystem.
Do you guys have a system for powering up? Like do you have a certain percentage with which you power up or you use all your SBD to power up?
Thanks for watching.
Kindly help resteem your followers would love me I promise hahahah and I want to hit the goal of having 200 followers by the end of the month. We would throw a big party I promise once I reach this milestone. Copy that @tojukaka @ejemai @samstickkz @surpassinggoogle

If you're looking at it as an investment, then yes, you should be powering up at every given chance. The idea is to grow your influence.. and eventually also to benefit if the price of Steem shoots to crazy highs like with Bitcoin.
It takes 13 payment instalments as a safety measure and also to prevent a suddenly exodus of steem - imagine if a couple of Whales decided to power down at the same time. That would negatively affect they platform if they all the money was withdrawn immediately
@adetorrent oh i see on the powering down, so I should forget about it for now lol. Thanks bro
I think I have many things to learn on this platform as a newcomer
I was advised to power up sometimes ago, though it was hard cos I needed cash to sought out few things but later I discovered it is the best if I can power up and make my vote count. My mentor @fistegenos said "close ur eyes to whatever you think you are earning and concentrate on creating a good content, void of plagiarism and you could make a fortune when powering down" It is hard I guess.
@royalheir veryyyyyyyyyyy hard. But I guess its better to pay the price now and enjoy later
No cross, no crown
I always convert directly from SBD to Steem then from Steem to power up.
Oh boy even you new comer like me already know this technical stuff? Chaiiiiiiiiii
Hahahahaha. With Steemit, there is no limit to what can be known o. You really cracked me up sir. Just when i needed it. Hahahaha
Wise decision I think I'll take a cue from your style
@deliniz thank you sir
I'm new so this literally is a technical discourse @temitopebanks
@iamdayosamuel not so technical basically on steemit your steem power determines your influence, so most experts advise to invest in steem power instead of cashing out all the time.
