I totally agree with you! Open Source is the backbone of the internet. Without it there wouldnt be that level of innovation. People can learn from the work of others, improve it and bring better use.

Absolutely. If a DApp is not open source it is a centralized application since no one else has anything to get a clone working if the core devs disappear the next day
