Road to Review // o3 // the middle part of the future of decentralised brand advocacy arrives soon!

in #dtube5 years ago (edited)

With reviewhunt around the corner I wanted people to understand how reviewhunt hunt is the middle part, second vertical that the steemhunt team is bringing out and how it fits into the complete package of the three sites that will be all up and running before the end of the year (we hope!)

even thou SMT’s did not pan out as expected with steemit we can still hope that it’s integration at some point will come into the mix — the team is not waiting thou and with their hiring of a frontend developer into the mix you know that the next product is going to knock it out the park (hope you saved some of those HUNT tokens!)

I’m kinda looking at it as the ‘360 of decentralised brand advocate development’ in my mind right now — with review hunt being the middle part of that picture which can not only help makers but reviewers to build up their social networks, their craft (to get better) but also to become a part of the products journey, all products need brand advocates and influencers these days to have any success.

So why 360?

The power move I believe in all of the steemhunt white paper is the genius of part three, idea hunt. One of the biggest areas online for geeks today to get the very latest products, products that they want to be improved are often not made by the mainstream market place, in fact, I’d go as so far to say that geeks looking for the best version of a product are more likely to purchase a brand new device from a well known company that’s had a successful previous kickstarter and has taken the feedback from the community and made a better version — you only have to look at peak design bags and mikme to see how the product journey now is SOCIAL.

In fact, in both regards instead of having investment in the hope that you can bring a product to market and make money on it a lot of product designers are using the kickstarter, crowdfunding route to make their products a reality, it’s a core component to their business.

The hope then with a platform like idea hunt is to duplicate that very thing but use HUNT tokens and tokenomics with an established HUNTER user base of product hunters, geeks and nerds who love their technology to back products that they want to see come to market — and this is the genius part, you’ll have a reviewing, engaging and empowering marketplace to be able to use after you have delivered those products to those people globally, you can instantly go into your marketing strategy using traded tokens from fiat and back to mobilise your remote engaged audience.

  • Steemhunt - a ranking community for product enthusiasts to discover cool new products
  • Reviewhunt - a marketing channel where makers suggest bounty missions for early-adopters
  • Ideahunt - a crowdfunding platform where early-adopters can trade their backer’s non-fungible tokens

From ideation to reality the whole process of developing a product that people want can happen, a little like massdrop (now called drop) but decentralised and tokenised, in fact, those guys would be perfect BUYOUT partners if that was ever to happen! :) — their mantra is crystal clear. ..

Community-inspired products, designed for everyone.

A perfect fit for steemhunt + reviewhunt + ideahunt — end to end, from developing and production of a product, to an eager and waiting username, for reviewing and using those tokens to engage and build out ‘quests’ for your new customer base to the final part (in reverse) steemhunt to get the product out there and discussion begins at that stage of discovery all over again.

Hugely powerful allowing the maker to take feedback at all stages of the product life cycle and iterate quickly with feedback from an existing product user base — and here is where I get even more excited, with platforms like steam-engine and dtube partnering the ability to use IPFS for hosting videos for product reviews the maker can story tell his building out journey from distribution to material sourcing to prototyping and be open to potential blockchain rewards for doing so.

Tokenomics could remove the barrier to entry for develop of products like never before — no more grant fund writing, no more waiting on investors or slow downs in the chain, taking more calculated time risks in discussing the products journey and design, taking real time feedback, creating quests for existing products you clients have in their hands every feature update — mobilising and incentivising your customer base like never before and with crypto currency globally. ..

.. . and with steem, with zero fees reaching all corners of the planet.

We have a lot to get excited about!

This for me was an introduction of Steem Hunt, basically you want to create a new pipeline, cutting out multiple middle persons and use Steem momentum to cut down costs on RnD and market research?

In a nutshell yep.
