Change In Thinking: STEEM As The Pair Currency
Most of us look at STEEM in terms of the price in whatever fiat we are accustomed to using. Thus when we look at a site like coinmarketcap.com, we see STEEM in the price of, say, the USD and how it compares to other tokens based upon that metric.
There is a shift in mindset that will take place going forward. One of the advantages to STEEM is that it is the pair for other things. Looking at Steem-Engine, what is created on there is not priced in fiat but, rather STEEM. Hence we have 350 different use cases for STEEM. This will be enhanced when we see products and services being priced in STEEM.
The outlook takes on new meaning when you realize what being a pair to other currencies means.
