Hurricane IRMA, Prepping Part 3, Emergency Electric and Power
Having both a diesel generator and a gas generator for a power outage during a hurricane is smart, because you can use two types of fuel. I have maybe 15 gallon of gas for the gas generator, but I have 500 gallons of diesel for the diesel generator. With that much diesel fuel you are never in danger of running out during a temporary power outage from a hurricane or storm.
