RE: Conscious Attention Is a Form Of Ignorance

in #dtube7 years ago

Before I forget...# 1 ham. Interesting subject. I know I am a lot detached from my surroundings. I came to that rationalization a few years back when I notice if I went to a store and more times than not people I knew always noticed me before I noticed them. That's a lot of detachment from one's environment. This past summer my sister was here for awhile, we went to the store together, I felt so of embarrassed as she couldn't quit bumping me asking to look at all the hotties in the store....I didn't even notice, more than likely because it's an area with a lot of young guys, way to young for me in the first place to be plying my eyes on them like she was but still I admit part of it is the detachment disorder if one wants to call it that. She's also much more describable to the other video above, she tries so hard to find a man permanently that she can't find one. I guess this don't work out so well in comparison to the subject at hand as one video talks about being detached from your environment and the other is being to attached to your environment....evidently neither is probably good to an extreme.

We as people have gotten to the point where we filter out interactions with people around us to the point where it is detrimental to our experience. You are right, we need to find the right balance. I think social media and antisocial behavior has pushed us a bit too far in one direction.
