Does Snail have self consciousness if he is able to enjoy himself and having fun?

I observed a snail in my fish tank. He climb up to air stone and waited until his shell will be filet with the air. Then the inflated light shell puled out the snail up to the water surface. He is literally "flying". What is a most interesting about it is a fact, that he was repeating his action several times and i could clearly tell, that he had a fun!

Now the question is: is it ability to have fun proof of the consciousness?
