I ve done that a few months back but you should mention that since it introduces a single point of failure for all 2fa stored, the password used should be extremely secure.
That's true ... hope that Google Authenticator actually updates it and enable some sort of secured cloud sync for their 2FA .. a lot of people does not know about the single point of failure like what you mention
