Mechanics is not engineering unless you were designing engines or cars.
Thank you for the feedback@stemgeeks, I new the post should be about the list above.
My thinking was that I was writing about technology, although it is very old technology (Distributor with contact breakers and condenser) being replaced by more modern technology. (Distributor with hall sensor and electronic ignition module).
I will give it another try at some stage, hopefully with better results and your approval.
