Awesome post @humanearl. You know, when I was reading this post a scripture on the gifts of the Spirit came to mind.

Ephesians 4 vs 12
*'to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up' '

I believe God has equipped us to help others. Not just the church, but people in general.
