HOW TO UPLOAD ON DTUBE – TO ENCOURAGE NEWBIES ON VIDEO UPLOAD

You welcome to my blog on how to do a dtube video, a way to encourage more quality video content.

A lot of people especially newbies haven been asking questions on how to upload videos on steemit. The answer is DTUBE OR DLIVE. @dtube, you could put up a video content about anything you doing, and you want the world to see and share with you or a profession, tutorial, skills you want to teach. But lots of folks find it very difficult. So am doing a quick tutorial on how to use dtube for uploading video content. I will do @dlive the next tutorial if you still don’t understand the concept.

The How!

• On your address bar or url, enter d.tube

• Click on login

• Put in your steemit username without the @ and your posting key. (check below on how to see your posting key)
• Or login using steemconnect
• And you in…vooalla!

• To upload the required video, click on the top left hand of the page and select upload

• Click on the “Drop a file or click to start the upload” section and select where the file/video is saved

• When it is done upload, you will see the green good sign, showing it is done

• Click on upload snap, to select the picture that represents the video or a picture that will attract viewers to the video
• Type your title of the post to be made and description which is the content/body of your post
• Select your required tags for your posts e.g. dtube steemiteducation stach, with no commas and make sure they are all in small letters and also to be spaced just like your post tags on steemit, to avoid error

• Click submit and a page confirmation shows that your uploads was successful

Get your posting key

• Log into your steemit account

• Go to wallet by the right hand side
• Click permissions

• You will see posting, click on show key in front of it, your posting key will be revealed to you. It starts with 5, it is a very long password
• Copy and use on dtube

This tutorial is to help newbies that are just coming into the platform. Its high time we say goodbye to snapchat, Instagram, etc….am just saying…lol
