Exploring Chattahoochee Bend State Park
I drove out to the North West end of Georgia to explore a park system that is part of the Georgia state parks. There were many areas to explore, trails crossing the road through the park and some boat ramp areas. I find some platform campsites and was quite surprised how inexpensive they were a night coming in at $15.
I did not camp there, just took a day trip but I may return to camp sometime. I need to look at the campsite numbers and figure out the best one. Usually theres a couple prime camping sites that will be worth scheduling if you know which ones they are.
At the end of the trip I found a playset for children and since no one was around I gave a go at it. It drawed me to it as it was a rope structure and looked like alot of fun. I set up my camera and climbed around while recording, had alot of run and was a nice way to end my trip.
As the summer heats up I plan on sticking to the Northern campsites but I will return one day to see more of it. I only explored a little bit of the place.
