Point of view video - Picking the last of the blueberries for the season
Over the last month or so the berries have been ripening. Many birds have taken berries but we had so many this year we were able to harvest close to a pound or two of berries. I wear my head actioncam and record picking them with Lovely Logic. We froze most of these are we were busy baking with the previous harvests from this year.
I hope next year my bees are doing well and will potentate the flowers all over again. I really do think keeping solitary bee homes near the blueberry bushes increased our yield.

@solominer that is great that the birds left some for you. They wipe my blueberry bush out so I covered it in small mesh wire so I could have some to eat.
@myjob oh yeah we tried covering but it would break the young blueberry branches and I noticed some smart birds got under the net sometimes. Hope you had better luck with them. Just happens the Hawks are real active this time of year and it's making the prey birds not forage as much I think. Good for me and my blueberries.
