Desert Combat Gameplay 02-18
Battle of the Bulge is one of those World War II locations but now played with modern vehicles and weapons using Desert Combat mods.
There are only a couple maps that are not Desert.. in Desert Combat. This is one of them. The bridges are the choke points and I found keeping them clear is the best way of stopping enemies from crossing over into other regions.
I use the helicopter and take out some baddies, as I take off it looks like there is a line for the bunker. Must has to do with 255 players and making the global AI not working right I guess. I keep clipping terrain and crashing. Sometimes the enemy takes machine gunner will take big chunks of health out of the Hind. But im usually successful in taking them out before they take me out. I take an armored vehicle out for a spin next.
Giving the soldiers a try, using a rocket launcher I take out a tank. I wonder if the anti air missile hurts the tanks at all. Seems like it does not hurt them, two direct hits with them on a smoking tank does not kill it so I think it barely does any damage to them. Guess it really is only for aircraft. I take over a checkpoint and use the stationary machine gun to keep the enemies at bay. I eventually capture it but its hard to keep with hundreds of enemies coming towards the base. This 255 gameplay has all new aspects to it. When the AI are working, haha.. Seems with the bunker bathroom line not all of the AI are being used it seems. Still alot of fun though, for such an old game I still have alot of fun playing.
