Ultraviolet and Infrared video: Sweetwater Creek State Park
I had an opportunity to attend a Geology hike in a State Park. Our guide is a Geologist and talked about the formations inside the park and the history of the river including some structures down on the water that date back to the Civil War.
I switch between Infrared and Ultraviolet filters, and capture the rapids, trees and the overall forest with my special camera. There were softshell turtles on the exposed rocks and along the banks. I also saw butterflies in clusters on the bank which was unique.
We eventually get to the historic building and how its still barely standing. The floors were burned out in the Civil Wars says and the remaining structure has been reinforced to stop more from falling. We had to be careful around it not to lean on it or to stand too close to the side walls in case bricks fall from stories above.
