POV of laying down more hay for my Potato plants, soilless growing method.
I made this video the last time I laid down more hay, I get this hay from a local farmer. Its considered stale and not usable for livestock. They let me come out to their farm and collect it from large bales and take back home whatever I can carry.
I usually bring a half dozen or so 27 gallon plastic containers. Though im finding myself going back for more hay more often. I think I may buy some larger containers for my roof and use my tow hitch carrier for more capacity.
These are the Yukon Gold Potatoes before the caterpillars basically wiped them out. Maybe I can start one more cycle of growing potatoes before the winter sets in.
