Desert Combat Gameplay 03-10
Playing some more Bocage, after trying out the helicopters for awhile I decided to give the ground vehicles a try. I first used the Vulcan anti aircraft gun, set it on a hill and used it to take out the ground forces. Its very effective, though a RPG took me out eventually. It was fun while it lasted. When I respawned I tried out the Paladin tank which is a long range mobile artillery gun. I set it up again and take out some baddies across the bridge. They get all grouped up crossing the bridge so it makes for easy targets. And this tank also has a machine gun on top if they end up getting too close.
Seems the physics of the game gets a little crazy. A tank turret went flying across the map at one point.. hah I guess 255 players might be a bit much for the game engine to handle.
After awhile I got bored of the map so I moved onto a large desert map. Spawning in I took the MLRS system and tried to take down a plane though it was too far. I eventually changed sides and took one of the Migs and took out the attack airplane. Amazed how many bullets and missiles it took to take out the airplane. But eventually it feel after circling back to fire the final missiles and machine gun fire into the aircraft.
When playing as the allies, that AC-130 really kicks ass, the bots arent as good with it but with a crew of 5 players that work together you can do some major damage with it. The same goes for the black hawk, for whatever reason the bots are not very good with it.
