History 1940-ITALIAN ATTACK ON EGYPT
Collection of rare propaganda footage about the Italian invasion of Egypt in WW2.
The opening shows italian soldiers moving on foot in the desert being bombed by British airplanes, then resqued by italian airplanes (fiat cr42). At 1 min and 4 you can see a pilot with a artifical leg. That Ernesto Botto who lost the leg in a dogfight in Spain in 1937. He was nicknamed gamba di ferro (iron leg).
Italian language only. But lots of footage. If you love history you surely wont miss this.
