First Clothing Exchange for Homeless a Success! - Sharing Society NorCal
Two years ago we started Sharing Society in North California with our first clothing exchange for the homeless.
I started with a storage unit with 3 families worth of clothes that had been setting around, washed and organized them and also collected some donations from the community. I packed my compact car full of bins of clothes and shoes and went off to the park to meetup for more potential donations before taking it all to the Social Services where homeless gather for a free lunch meal from the local church. This was the best spot to help as many people at once.
We had a new NY Giants jacket donated that we gave away as one of the first things you will see in the video. Please watch below and consider donating to continue our efforts for helping the community up in our small town.
