You Don’t Always Need Money To Make Money
Don’t make excuses, instead, we must find one reason that trumps the excuses and double down on it. I do believe the saying is true, but it should only be used as a guiding principle and not as a rule. Too often am I hearing people with big ideas and big excuses. They talk about how they would do anything and everything in the world if they just had money and they act like you can’t do anything until that’s the case. That is what entitlement looks like when you have nothing to offer, or at least you haven’t presented something worth investing in and expect that the money would solve everything. The reality is that lazy people who don’t work to get funding, or barter, or problem solve and find some way to do any of the things they espouse they will do eventually won’t become entrepreneurs by being given money, but rather it wasn’t for them and it’s just another person caught in the trap of thinking entrepreneurship is a get rich quick shortcut in life. It’s not.

The saying " you need money to make money " is completely true, what confuses or dissappoint people is the mistaking or wrong perception of that saying . The saying is always meant to target people who are the second level of the business already now want to move to the next level or higher levels but strictly not to underground level or first levels.
At underground level or initial level to do business more concern is better preparation such enough knowlege of the business you plan to do,skills , good communications , partners or even get employed to accumulate some money for couple of months. And you can either sell your talents, skills or experience to get money before using your own money. This is what I call preparation. Simply to make preparation for starting a business not necessarily to have money but moving to the higher level of the business money is mostly required .

Yes as I said, it's a guiding principle, but most people think it's a rule or a restriction. I think it's key to make the differentiation. Yes well said, it's for people at the 2nd level.
I agree with you, I do make money from no money at all. Here on steem blockchain, I started 0 SP and with everyday posting and commenting on office using our companies asset, I was able to amass more than 1000 SP for less than 2 years. This is my own example and I am living with it.
